Hundreds of thousands of Iraqis have experienced slow deaths through a lack of food and necessary medicines. HTN projects focus on securing food and medication for needy families, especially children. In 2010, through the One-to-One sponsorship programme we helped 1500 orphans across 5 cities of Iraq and are still continuing to support them. Sponsors are able to remain in touch with the orphans they help and check on their progress through letters and photos. Our One-to-One sponsorship programme is also implemented in Bangladesh where we serve 50 orphans. Orphans benefit from monthly financial assistance and these children are also able to benefit from our seasonal project. The number of sponsored orphans is expected to increase to the thousands in the upcoming years with your generous donation.
