Needs assessment revealed that many vulnerable communities in Iraq, Pakistan and Bangladesh suffer from serious shortage in clean and safe drinking water causing wide spread of water borne diseases, therefore Help the Needy is planning to intervene by constructing Water Purification stations, digging water wells and installing water hand-pumps, furthermore, awareness flyers will distributed to targeted communities, workshops on the topic of water and hygiene will be carried out in targeted areas.

Water, sanitation & hygiene are key areas of focus for Help the Needy Charitable Trust.

To date, we have installed over 250 water hand pumps across Bangladesh, Sri lanka and Iraq, benefiting more than 12,300 people and now implementing a project of 1000 water hand pumps in Sindh and Punjab which will give access to more than 35,000 people with clean and safe water.
